I am sure it has nothing to do with me.
I stand in queues and talk to people.
I ask them questions. I share the experience.
A few are taken aback and limit their responses but most are pleased to have someone to talk to while they are waiting.

The supermarket restaurant queue is always long…. And it seems to be getting longer each time I visit.
More so since they brought in the new servery arrangements with division of duties at the till – there are three people now vying for your order (drinks are ordered separately) and managed by one on production, one taking the order and one on the till.
