Should I spend my time on Facebook or as a volunteer?

A few days ago I was doing my daily browse through all the usual online suspects (email, social networking, forums) and came across this disturbing statistic.  Facebook’s active users spend 700 billion minutes per month on the site. If we look at Facebook’s own statistics we can work out that every one of their 800 million users spends an average of

As a relative novice band it was invaluable for us to have someone like Dave to act as coach, mentor and advisor.

Unfortunately this week our vocalist, Janet, had suffered a complete loss of voice on the Friday, the day before our session.
